Panther Island Adventures!

Panther Island is 2,800 acres of restored wetland and upland habitats situated in the northwest corner of Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary's 13,000 acres. It is home to numerous plants and animals including the Florida panther and the iconic wood stork.

Break! Some Panther Island Plants!

  1. It's nice to see some flora on the blog, although this appears to be somewhat infrequent. The Corkscrew Swamp area is home to one of the largest assemblages of orchids in the US, so the plants need to get their 'props' sometimes.
